Central Festival is the best shopping mall in Pattaya by far.  It has 6 or 7 floors, so many I lost count.  Here you’ll find a great selection of stores, restaurants, food court, and excellent movie theater.  Attached to the mall is also the Hilton hotel.  It is a wonderful place to get out of the sun, do some shopping and grab a tasty meal.

The mall is located between Beach Road and Second Road just to the north of Soi 10.  Being centrally located, It is easy to get to by walking or a short baht bus ride.

The bottom floor (which is underground) harbors the food court on one side and small shops selling traditional Thai goods and nick nacks.  In addition you’ll find several fast food restaurants including Dairy Queen – which makes a great blizzard…mmmm-good.

The upper floors are the main shopping area.  There is a mix and match clothing stores, electronics, magazine and books, a pharmacy, and sellers of anything you could possibly need.  The top floors are mainly restaurants.  There is some great outdoor seating where you can overlook the Pattaya bay. There are several spots near the outside elevator where you can get a scenic overlook of the bay and take a photo or two.

The Movie Theater, or cinema as my friends from other part of the world like to call it, is located on one of the top floors.  It is a great modern theater with nice big chairs and stadium seating.  They also have VIP seating which comes with a waiter and large comfy lounge chairs.  This is the best theater in Pattaya and puts the very nice one at the Avenue Mall to shame.

This is a fantastic mall and well worth a visit, even if you don’t need to buy anything it is nice to just walk around and explore it.  You can also check out their website here.
